Cuit-Cuit v.12 [What is PTA?]

Before I start talking about what is PTA, let me give an introduction to the company responsible for producing this PTA.

BP Chemicals Malaysia (BPCM) is a BP company, which is one of the world's largest energy companies with well established operations in the UK and other parts of the world. The plant in Kuantan produce Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA), a prefered raw material for polyester. The plant is in Gebeng Industrial Estate cost RM1.2 billion to build and equip.

What is PTA?

PTA is the short form for Purified Terephthalic Acid. It was developed by BP scientists in the US. This white crystaline powder is very important because it is used to make polyester. Polyester is in great demand all over the world. It can be used to make many kinds of things, like textiles, video and audio tapes, film and soft drink bottles. It is even used to make bulletproof vests.

How is it made?

PTA is made from para-xylene (I don't even know what the HELL is this thing), which is a petroleum by-product. The process to convert para-xylene to PTA is complex. However, BP scientiest and engineers have developed high technology equipment to produce PTA efficiently. They are very well-known for designing the most advanced equipment which is used in PTA production all over the world.

OMG!I'm so in LOVE with you right now!This is the new Range Rover Evoque. It will be coming out in 2012 but I don't know wheater Malaysia will be having it by next year. New futuristic feature by Land Rover not as their previous design of box shapes. Seriously is DAMN! Nice! OK! I am betting that this car will be around RM500-RM700k.

I finally know now how does a wedding couple for non-muslim in Malaysia gets their marriage certified (Officiate, Legal). Here is how:-

PENDAFTARAN PERKAHWINAN BAGI PEMOHON BUKAN BERAGAMA ISLAM [PERMOHONAN PENDAFTARAN BIASA]

• Pemohon perlu hadir ke kaunter JPN/Pejabat Perwakilan Malaysia di luar negara semasa permohonan dan pendaftaran perkahwinan.
• Tempat permohonan adalah berdasarkan kepada alamat yang tertera dalam Mykad (warganegara) dan alamat tempat tinggal (bukan warganegara) di Malaysia.
• Pemohon bukan warganegara hendaklah bermastautin di daerah perkahwinan selama tempoh 7 hari sebelum membuat permohonan pendaftaran perkahwinan di pejabat JPN yang berkenaan.
• Pengupacaraan akan dilakukan selepas 21 hari tetapi tidak melebihi tempoh 6 bulan daripada tarikh permohonan.
• Dokumen sokongan :
  1. Kad Pengenalan bagi warganegara.
  2. Pasport bagi bukan warganegara beserta salinan fotostat maklumat diri dan tarikh ketibaan di Malaysia.
  3. Satu (1) keping gambar berwarna ukuran (32mm X 38mm) berlatar belakang BIRU bagi setiap seorang.

So that is how a non-Muslim gets married in Malaysia. I had the privileged to attend one of these wedding at Concorde Hotel in KL. It was awesome. The bride and groom are meant for each other.

I know..I know..Why must this entry right? Why the HELL we are talking about a JEW product kan? Hey..You guys/gals ada FB bukan sama ke? OK.OK. Cukup. So you guys wants to know what I'm talking about? Do you know what's so special about this date? 03/10/2011.

It's all about this...

The first Starbucks was opened in Seattle, Washington, on March 30, 1971 by three partners: English teacher Jerry Baldwin, history teacher Zev Siegl, and writer Gordon Bowker. The three were inspired by entrepreneur Alfred Peet (whom they knew personally) to sell high-quality coffee beans and equipment. The name is taken from Moby-Dick; after Pequod was rejected by one of the co-founders, the company was named for the first mate on the Pequod, Starbuck.

The original logo can still be seen on the Starbucks store in Seattle's Pike Place Market. Obviously, it is the main attraction of this store and everyone loves the bare chest mermaid. The first Starbucks store in Malaysiaopened on 17 December 1998 at KL Plaza in Jalan Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur. To date, the company has over 115 stores all over Malaysia.

So now you know right? Why do I post this? It's because on 03/10/2011 till 03/12/2011 Foursquare came out with a badge solely for Starbucks 40th anniversary. I like to share this info with you guys :-)

FYI, my favorite drink at Starbucks is "1 hot Caramel Machiatto Venti to go". Bare in your mind  that next time YOU and I going to get a coffee there, order this for me with your pocket money.. :-)

Memang gua cakap sama lu..Malaysia Klasemen! Period! King of South East Asia! Kito monang dengan team Garuda..Sebab jersey nihlah aku rase Malaysia menang. Tak ada ciri-ciri warna FAM (kuning dan hitam). Antara faktor kemenangan ialah pemain kita bertahan sehingga penghabisan walaupun di minit-minit terakhir keadaan amatlah getir dengan gawang kita dibolosi 2 kali. Kita kalah second leg tapi menang agreget 4-2. Satu gol dari Garuda pun Harimau Malaya yang tolong sumbatkan.

Tahniah sekali lagi pasukan negara Harimau Malaya...anda deserved untuk menang. Tahniah kepada semua pemain terutama kepada top scorer kejohanan Safee dan penjaga gawang yang hebat Fahmi (Wenger mungkin akan menelefon anda sedikit masa lagi untuk menyertai kelab Arsenal yang GAH!).

Cuit-Cuit v.03 [Europe Tours 2009]

Hi All,

Are you the fun and adventurous kind of guy/gal??? Do you ever dream of travelling, or living or studying in Europe??? I do!!! Even though I am not the adventurous kind of guy but I found something great from my good friend Azhari. A budget Europe tour organized by Malaysians there called Kelana Convoy.

They have like 4 packages as for now:-

Package 1.

Highlights of Europe (9 Days).

Inside this package we will travel to places starting in London to Amsterdam to Volendam to Brussels and Luxembourg to Lauterbrunnen to Paris (Paris Disneyland also included) and back again to London.

The cost for this whole package is 429 pound sterling. Everything is included transport, foods (Halal Food for Muslims) and camp sites for rest and sleep (we will travel in backpacks so do not expect to sleep in a hotel or what not...but there is a cabin for rent (the cabin is not part of the cost...you have to pay extra)).

We will start off the trip in London to Amsterdam to Frankfurt to Fussen (still in Germany) to Innsbruck to Venice to Rome to Pisa to Swiss Alps to Paris and lastly back again in London.

Andalusia (6 Days)

This package will only circle around in Spain. Start off in London to Granada to Cordoba to Gibraltar to Malaga and back to London. The price is 379 pound sterling.

Package 4.

Ski (7 Days)

This package will take you to Spain at the Sierra Nevada ski resort in Pradollano. We will take off from London to Granada and also there is an exursion of Andalusia. The total cost is 399 pound sterling. Price includes flight, transport, accommodation and food.
