The Taking of Pelham 123

The story was simple. It is not very heavy and it was nice. The story goes...

Walter Garber is a traffic manager in the control center for the vast New York City Subway underground rail system. On an ordinary day he may have to deal with trains that break down, derailments, stuck signals and the like.

But when one of his trains stops in mid-tunnel for no apparent reason he quickly finds out this is no ordinary day.

A train hijacked at gunpoint with hostages' lives at stake puts Garber in the 'hot seat' because the mastermind of the plot - who calls himself 'Ryder' - will only talk to the dispatcher as he details his demands punctuated with threats of deadly violence.

But I am not recommending you guys to go to the cinema. A DVD would be sufficient. Enjoy!

*3.5 POPCORN I should say will be enough...

Public Enemies

John Herbert Dillinger (June 22, 1903 – July 22, 1934) was a bank robber in the Midwestern United States during the early 1930s. He was a dangerous criminal, who was responsible for the murder of several police officers, robbed at least two dozen banks and four police stations, and escaped from jail twice, but some people idolized him as a modern-day Robin Hood. He was nicknamed "the Jackrabbit" for his graceful movements during heists, such as leaping over counters and his many narrow getaways from police.[1] The exploits of Dillinger and his gang, along with those of other criminals of the Great Depression such as Bonnie and Clyde and Ma Barker, dominated the attention of the American press and its readers during what is sometimes referred to as the public enemy era (1931–1935), a period which led to the development of the modern, more sophisticated Federal Bureau of Investigation.
After spending nearly a year running from police, and hiding out in Florida, Arizona, Michigan, and Wisconsin, Dillinger was wounded in one escape from police and returned to his father's home to heal. He soon returned to Chicago in July 1934, the site of several of his highest profile crimes. He was discovered there by police, who were informed of his whereabouts by a prostitute. On July 22, they closed in on a theater where he was watching a movie, and moved to arrest him as he left the building. He pulled a weapon and attempted to flee, but was shot three times, with a bullet through his face killing him. His crimes were sensationalized across the nation, and his numerous escapes and robberies fed many urban legends in the United States. *from Wikipedia

Public Enemies tells the story of the last fifteen months in the life of John Dillinger – the period that saw the bank robber become a folk hero (albeit a cop killing folk hero) to an American public still caught in the wake of the Great Depression. Opening with a brilliant extended set-piece as Dillinger busts his gang out of the Indiana State Penitentiary, the narrative then traces the months that followed, as Dillinger robbed banks, killed cops, became a media darling, and died on the sidewalk outside the Biograph movie theatre. Ohh not to forget the second time he escaped from a prison...that was so awesome.

Filmed entirely in high definition digital video, using many locations actually run by Dillinger’s gang back in the 1930s, the film’s aesthetic is eye-catchingly realistic, creating an immediacy to the action which is simply startling. If you were alive and with the Dillinger gang in 1933, this is what it would look and feel like. And it looks bloody terrifying. Thompson machine guns go off like firecrackers with alarming regularity, exploding in the foreground with documentary-like realism, making the many set-pieces simply spectacular.

*I rate this movie 4 POPCORN...It is simply a nice movie to watch...

Harry Potter and the Hal-Blood Prince

Hmmm...I'm not sure where to begin...The start of the movie was good...fill with action and a little bit of comedy on the side. It started well although it misses one or two good parts from the book.

Up until the middle of the movie, there is nothing more to watch extensively. And I can't believe that this David Yates guy didn't put in all the pensive parts. That is essential to the story. How Dumbledore shows the child, teenager, after school of Voldermot. How those people that didn't read the book can possibly know whats happening.

There is not much action and the story is flat. No outstanding graph line going up only flat. I am quite disapointed with the movie. The director can do better. I can direct better. They should have inserted a scene during Dumbledore's funeral that part is sad.

I am a fan of Harry's but not the movie. It is very weak.

*I give 3 POPCORN to the movie because bad Director direct it.HUH!

If I die today...No need to mourn for me...
If I die today...No need to remember me...
If I die today...No need to show your sorrow...

If I left you today...

If I am not around that's because I am gone...
If I am not around that's because I am traveling to a world beyond...
If I am not around that's because I have gone to the dream place...
If I am not around that's because I have lose my face...

For what I have said and done...
