Craving for Udangs

Jam menunjukkan pukul 1.25am. Monday morning. Sungguh malas nak buat scripting hari ini. Apakan daya dah namanya KERJA! Selagi belum tutup mata, kerja, kerja, kerja!

Miss the UiTM Segamat lifelah!!! Miss that udang bakar also!!! (gila gak kalau kul 1.30am tetibe mengidam nak makan udang bakar). Fuh!!! Terliur beb!!! Bilalah nak gi lagi ke Umbai nih...day trip pun takda hal.

Cerita pasal udang umbai ni...apa agaknya cerita budak-budak UiTM Segamat yang lain. How are they doing?? Hmm...What do I miss about that place??

-Kolej SR especially Wing 3B (wing yang terletak di tingkat 3, bilik sebelah bilik air, tingkap mengadap kubur cina...wah!bahagianya)

-Party wing...buat barbeque dekat ampai pastu bilik bau asap ngan minyak melekat kat bilik sampai sebulan

-Budak-budak wing 3B yang cool and mantaps

The Castle Restaurant

It is also situated along the road in Jalan Damai. *a little note of advice...it seems that for 2 weeks in a row that we kena saman by DBKL. Kawasan ini dahlah takda tempat parking kereta yang sesuai...kalau park tepi jalan sure punya DBKL datang saman...the time will be around 10pm - 10.30pm.

Ok! Last Friday we (Myself, Maria, Cical, Midy and Ijad as in we tadi) we went to Castle Restaurant. Try on tempat baru...Hop On Hop Off Restaurant Day! HooRayy!!!

Since that I know the drill already, I said to Maria that we will share the foods because I know if both of us ordered different things I am sure that she will not be able to finish. *my assumption was right in fact both of us cannot finished the foods we ordered.

Maria and I ordered Chicken Quzy and Mix Grill. Ahh well, it is not as I expected. The foods was under ok. Eatable but not recommended. I prefer to al-Rawsha and al-Magreb cookings. The Quzy really makes my throat quizzy. Erghh!!! Well at least I have the experienced dining there. I would say that will be my first but I am not sure weather I would be returning back there again.

I don't what did Cical ordered...something sandwhichy...Ijad and Midy ordered the Lamb Quzy. I wondered how the 1 hour food (i can't remember what it is called) taste like. I think the food was a little bit soggy and oily. Kalau nak bayangkan ia amat memuakkan. The mix grill only the chicken taste good (rasa macam makan ayam tandoori). The kebab and lamb did not pass my ISO. (i think i say it for all).

The foods here are pricy. It cost a lot more then al-rawsha, like in the menu for chicken or lamb kabsa at Castle cost RM18 over at al-Rawsha is about RM12. Same goes like the Barbican's, over at al-Rawsha it coast RM4 but here its RM5.

We also had the arab coffee and Maria totally Ewww!!! it. So that's a No!No! for her. I like it but certainly doesn't love it. Everybody else??

*sorry Castle, I am not recommending to others to try it as for now...so no STAR...sorry

Beriani, Kunci & Makcik Hot!!!

BERIANI:

KUNCI:
Lepas makan tengahari plannya ke Low Yat (Kiyai nak survey PC & Laptop) (Ijad nak survey Boobies...What???Teruk cousin aku nih...hee...) tapi tukar rancangan kami bertiga (myself, kiyai and ijad) ke Puchong nak ambil kunci (Kiyai dapat washing machine berharga RM700 dari adik dia...Fuyooo!!!Power!!!). Mak aih!!! Gile ceruk tempat Kiyai duduk, memang sesuai jin main tendang-tendang kat situ.

MAKCIK HOT!!!

First shop aku recommend dekat All IT Hyperstore (kat sini aku beli PC aku dengan spec sederhana dan murah dan power). Ok, diaorang ada buat promo kat situ kalau pakai intel untuk spec agak best (tak ingat apa dia punya full spec) harga dalam RM1300 (exclusive monitor). And kalau processor pakai AMD harga dia dalam RM1100 (exclusive monitor).

So after that we all went surveying other stuff (my aim was to get a 1TB hard disk jenama Maxtor, upgrade my RAM to 8G, get headphone to play games and a laptop for future usage). Emmm...Power!

On our way down sewaktu berada di atas escalator, aku melihat brother-brother yang sedang menjual laptop di sekeliling Low Yat memerhatikan sesuatu. Oh My God!!!

Tidaaaaaaaaaaaak!!! Cannot be. Impossible!

Oh My God! Kiyai!

Amat memilukan. Semoga ia manjadi pengajaran kepada kita semua. Sekian."

How Sad ;-(

So all of this exercise freaks buat aerobic ala-ala martial arts (seriously takda awek-awek cun...hee...).

Dekat dalam Cineleisure ada another event called the Street Challenge. Ni pertandingan ala-ala Hip-Hop, B-Boys Dance or whateverlah. Tengoklah sekejap show diaorang ni. Tapi sungguh menghampakan sebab tak BEST! langsung. Baik aku diri je kat situ tak buat apa-apa then semua orang tengok aku (macam tuhlah concept yang nak diterangkan) hee.

So pusinglah kami di dalam kedai IT Hyperstore, Ok!!! Nafsu nak membeli headset, new wireless punya connector and 1 TB Hard Disk sedang meluap-luap (alangkah bestnya kalo tadi dapat beli). So on the way out we passed again this Street Challenge thingy, and what I saw was really disturbing. This 2 young malays couple was kissing (i am not against it cause thats their problem but for god sake people!!!get a room!!!) and I was like Ok!

Like Ijad always said Emm...POWER!!!

Al-Rawsha Restaurant

Visit to Al-Rawsha Restaurant today with Ijad, Cical and Ku. The restaurant is situated along Jalan Damai (behind Crown Plaza and previously Yow Chuan Plaza). This is an arab restaurant (i don't know which part of arab nation they belong too..heh..).

So we had our dinner there today (ok!at 10.30pm i don't call it as dinner maybe supper but yeah! we can combined them. Sure!). I ordered Lamb Kabsa, Cical and Ku ordered the opposite, Chicken Kabsa. Ijad ordered the Lamb Mandy (i supposed to remember what is the difference between Kabsa and Mandy...hmmphh...i forgot 'bout that...sorry!).

The foods was nice and eatable but I should tell you that for 1 plate i think you can share it with another person. *caution:order it one and share it with your partner because it is a lot ok!especially if you order anything with lamb...there is a lot more selection in the menu (they have like bread, i'm not sure if naan is available and some more arab food. Go there and try. It is worth your RINGGIT bebeh!).

This is the first time I tasted this drink. It is called the Barbican (i ordered the Peach flavour). It is a non alcoholic malt drink (Ingridients: malt, hops *can anyone tell me whats this??, sugar, water, citric acid, nature identical peach flavour, color caramel, quilaia *again can somebody tell me whats this??, ascorbic acid). It is nice and try imagining it as sparcling beverage but much better..hee...It is manufactured in Dubai, UAE.

Al-Rawsha offers a good 'Lepaking' enviroment (FYI, it is not an ISO certified place for Ijad...hee...*surely you do know why?? *wink*wink). They
have Shisa (we had Grape flavour). A lot of place to seat. And certainly you can enjoy yourselves talking and chit-chating with your families and friends with their wide range of tea and coffee (we had Turkish coffee).

The service was good, fast and efficient. I would certainly recommend everyone to go there and try it out. The food prices are fair (it's not that expensive...i would say a person's meal will cost around RM20). Our total just now was about RM120 that's for 4 person (about RM30 per person...depending on what you order).

So ENJOY!

*I give 4 STAR out of 5...

The Brothers Bloom

"They'd never let the truth come between them"

The plot:
The Brothers Bloom are the best con men in the world, swindling millionaires with complex scenarios of lust and intrigue. Now they've decided to take on one last job - showing a beautiful and eccentric heiress the time of her life with a romantic adventure that takes them around the world.

The Brothers Bloon is one of those movies, You know, them. The ones where there's a whole lot of individual things to like, and the movie is nothing more than the sum of its parts. It is fun, at least, and has a style not often found in the quirkier films out there. I guess I would say that it is a fine movie to like although nearly impossible to love.

I rate it as a 3 POPCORN out of 5...

Depression: The Symptoms

Hye...Need to tell you a story of a young man. Today you see him happy and there is always a smile on his face. Regardless of any mockery you throw at him, he will always shows you the smiles on his face.

Tommorrow you meet him again. You tease him, you have fun with him, you talk about all the happy endings with him, and yet in some ways you made fun of him. He smiles at you without saying any words. Just a smile.

Next week you met with him again and the routine is still the same however you tried to make him angry and get the lion out of him. He said, "Hey, Cut it out!" with a smile on his face. You couldn't believe what happen next.

Avalon - A 26 years old man committed suicide in his home yesterday. He was found lying on the bathroom floor with a cut on his wrist. The man wrote a suicide note as reported by the police officer that were rushed to the man's home when they received a call from the cousin. The police said that they will conduct a further investigation before they can conclude that the cause of death was suicide.

WOTD v.06 [Melayu - Usman Awang]

Melayu itu orang yang bijaksana
Nakalnya bersulam jenaka
Budi bahasanya tidak terkira
Kurang ajarnya tetap santun
Jika menipu pun masih bersopan
Bila mengampu bijak beralas tangan.

Melayu itu berani jika bersalah
Kecut takut kerana benar,
Janji simpan di perut
Selalu pecah di mulut,
Biar mati adat
Jangan mati anak

Melayu di tanah Semenanjung luas maknanya:
Jawa itu Melayu,
Bugis itu Melayu,
Banjar juga disebut Melayu,
Minangkabau memang Melayu,
Keturunan Acheh adalah Melayu,
Jakun dan Sakai asli Melayu,
Arab dan Pakistani, semua Melayu,
Mamak dan Malbari serap ke Melayu,
Malah mua‘alaf bertakrif Melayu

Dalam sejarahnya
Melayu itu pengembara lautan
Melorongkan jalur sejarah zaman
Begitu luas daerah sempadan
Sayangnya kini segala kehilangan

Melayu itu kaya falsafahnya
Kias kata bidal pusaka
Akar budi bersulamkan daya
Gedung akal laut bicara

Malangnya Melayu itu kuat bersorak
Terlalu ghairah pesta temasya
Sedangkan kampung telah tergadai
Sawah sejalur tinggal sejengkal
Tanah sebidang mudah terjual
Meski telah memiliki telaga
Tangan masih memegang tali
Sedang orang mencapai timba
Berbuahlah pisang tiga kali

Melayu itu masih bermimpi
Walaupun sudah mengenal universiti
Masih berdagang di rumah sendiri
Berkelahi cara Melayu
Menikam dengan pantun
Menyanggah dengan senyum
Marahnya dengan diam
Merendah bukan menyembah
Meninggi bukan melonjak

Watak Melayu menolak permusuhan
Setia dan sabar tiada sempadan
Tapi jika marah tak nampak telinga
Musuh di cari ke lubang cacing
Tak dapat tanduk telinga dijinjing

Maruah dan agama dihina jangan
Hebat amuknya tak kenal lawan
Berdamai cara Melayu indah sekali
Silaturahim hati yang murni
Maaf diungkap sentiasa bersahut
Tangan dihulur sentiasa disambut
Luka pun tidak lagi berparut

Baiknya hati Melayu itu tak terbandingkan
Selagi yang ada sanggup diberikan
Sehingga tercipta sebuah kiasan:

“Dagang lalu nasi ditanakkan
Suami pulang lapar tak makan
Kera di hutan disusu-susukan
Anak di pangkuan mati kebuluran”

Bagaimanakah Melayu abad kedua puluh satu
Masihkah tunduk tersipu-sipu?
Jangan takut melanggar pantang
Jika pantang menghalang kemajuan;
Jangan segan menentang larangan
Jika yakin kepada kebenaran;
Jangan malu mengucapkan keyakinan
Jika percaya kepada keadilan
Jadilah bangsa yang bijaksana
Memegang tali memegang timba
Memiliki ekonomi mencipta budaya
Menjadi tuan di negara merdeka.

Bowling of the Day

WOOT!!!WOOT!

Yeay!!!Last Sunday went out with Maria pergi main bowling...How long has it been???I think a year ago kot masa tuh kat Manila.

Tangan dah keras, jari pun dah keras. I think the last time serious main bowling masa zaman secondary school. That was like everyday ada pergi main bowling. Every month duit atuk bagi buat main bowling. Time tuh macam best giler, siap ada 2 biji bola bowling, a pair of shoe, an arm guard and friends.

Duit belanja sekolah buat main bowling at least sehari main 3 game. Best part sebelum ada motor pergi main bowling naik besikal, ngan bola disangkut di handle. Those were the days.

Hari Sunday lepas I did one COOL thing jugakla.

WOW!!! *terdetik di hati...i'm good!

Hannah Montana The Movie

"She has the best of both worlds... now, she has to pick just one"

Ok. I don't know why but I like watching Hannah Montana (during my days in Makati each and every single day at 9pm I will watched Hannah Montana...hahaha...it's kinda of a ritual). So what do I think of the movie??

Yeap.yeap. It was good, fun, loving, family aka teenager kinda movie. So guys, don't expect the movie is full of action, and it is not a heavy drama movie. It is pretty light. Simple movie, simple storyline.

So the plot:
As Hannah Montana's popularity begins to take over her life, Miley Stewart, on the urging from her father takes a trip to her hometown of Crowley Corners, Tennessee to get some perspective on what matters in life the most.

Inside the movie there is few songs that I like very nice ones and also inside the movie there is a Poco-Poco dance Hannah Style (ok..its line dancing and it is really cool ok!!!)

Here is the list of songs:-
(*Hannah Montana The Movie OST)

1. You'll Always Find Your Way Back Home
2. Let's Get Crazy
3. The Good Life
4. Everything I Want
5. Don't Walk Away
6. Hoedown Throwdown
7. Dream
8. The Climb
9. Butterfly Fly Away
10. Backwards (Acoustic)
11. Back to Tennessee
12. Crazier
13. Bless the Broken Road (Acoustic)
14. Let's Do This
15. Spotlight
16. Game Over
17. What's Not to Like
18. The Best of Both Worlds: The 2009 Movie Mix (Mix)

Enjoy the movie guys/gals!!!

Garden

OK. Last Friday I went and ate at the Garden restaurant in OU. It's the place beside Voir (I think it's a part of Voir..I think..I think). So I ordered in the menu, Under the pasta section No.501 Spaghetti Aglio ed Olio with Shrimp (those who doesn't know it yet...Shrimp is my fav).

I took the lunch set that cost me RM17.90 and it comes with the main course + drinks + soup of the day. Nyum!Nyum! The food was nice, the service was friendly and efficient. Well is it recommended??Yeah when you are really hungry. I'm going back there again sometime in this month to try other foods.

*maybe i could give it a 3 STAR out of 5
