Digital Fortress

A long overdue for this book review - Well another great book by Dan Brown titled Digital Fortress. The way he writes is amazing because you felt that you never wanted to let the book down even for the tiniest second (OK! I am exaggerating on this because I put it down once and it took me 2 months to start reading it back..hehe).

So what's the book about? (this is the summary from the book).

When the National Security Agency's invincible code-breaking machine encounters a mysterious code it cannot break, the agency calls in its head cryptographer, Susan Fletcher, a brilliant, beautiful mathematician. What she uncovers sends shock waves through the corridors of power. The NSA is being held hostage - not by guns or bombs, but by a code so complex that is released would cripple U.S intelligence.

Caught in the accelerating tempest of secrecy and lies, Fletcher battles to save the agency she believes in. Betrayed on all sides, she finds herself fighting not only for her country but for her life, and in the end, for the life of the man she loves.

It is a good book but it cannot be compared to its previous predecessors like Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demon and the Lost Symbols. This books involves mostly on the U.S intelligence insight and played around with programming languages that even I have to Google the meanings. But heck it has been a pleasure reading it.

I shall..with the powers invested in me rate this book a 4 STAR..Happy Reading!!!
